Women in Ag Leadership Conference / ANCW Region VI

Agriculture is the backbone of the American dinner table. Without the farmers and ranchers of this great Country we would not have the bounty that makes sitting down at the dinner table so worthwhile. When we think of dinner we don’t think about sitting down to a single commodity.

We think about sitting down to the mixing and matching of ingredients. Without each commodity, dinner just does not come together. In the same respect agriculture as a whole is facing huge challenges that individually we can’t overcome. We are inviting you to bring your chair and pull it up around agriculture’s dinner table for a ground breaking conference. We will combine our talents and create a recipe that will honor the strong history of agriculture, while focusing our efforts to collaborate and take us into the future.

The American National Cattlewomen, New Mexico CowBelles, New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau’s Women’s Leadership Committee, United Dairy Women and the Women in Agriculture Leadership Conference will join forces: to address the issues we face, to create a vital network, to provide education, and to build something of value. The 2011 ANCW VI meeting and WALC will be hosted on April 27th to the 29th in Albuquerque, NM. This year’s program will focus on Innovation and Collaboration. Let’s come together to forge partnerships and develop innovative ideas to propel our industry forward. Program objectives include providing participants with awareness, enthusiasm, leadership, education, networking opportunities, and of course the necessary business that needs to be accomplished.

The conference will be held at the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North. Rooms have been blocked at a rate of $79 until March 29, 2011. After this date, rates go up. Attendees are responsible for making their own reservations. To reserve rooms, please call the Albuquerque Marriott Pyramid North at 1-800-262-2043 and reference the Women in Agriculture Leadership Conference.  Attached you will find the registration form, tentative agenda, sponsorship form and more. Please fill out the attached forms and return by April 1, 2011 to avoid a late fee. We look forward to seeing you at the conference.
